PHASE 3

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

This is the phase in which a project / contract gains or loses value, hence it must be actively managed.

CT&J provides the client’s project team (owner, contractor and subcontractor) with support to enable them to identify and control the project risks, ensuring that the procedures set forth in the contract documents are appropriately implemented.

In this phase, CT&J can be involved in the following ways:

  • Project Assistant, assisting the client’s project leaders through periodic meetings to:
    1. Launch the project: Kick off meeting.
    2. Assist in the progress of the project and identifying deviations in critical aspects, such as deadlines, scope and financial control which could give rise to claims in the future.
    3. Recommend remedial measures, if applicable.
    4. Assist in drawing up written communications to the counterparty.
    • Contract Controller

      1. Analysis, arrangement and follow-up of the contract subscribed with the counterparty in order to:

        • Point out the most significant risks in the project.
        • Identify the key and critical aspects in the contract.
      2. During the project implementation phase, they will review the most relevant documentation, helping the client draw up briefs and claims, advising on the strategy to be adopted and in decision-making.
